Taste the Difference at Lowell Farms: A Cannabis Cafe

2 Mins read

Taste the Difference at Lowell Farms: A Cannabis Cafe – The new weed cafe in West Hollywood has some A-list patrons, including Miley Cyrus, Halsey, and Woody Harrelson. The Lowell Herb Co. is a well known brand in legal states. Their pre-rolled pack of “Lowell Smokes” boasts sustainable, organically grown cannabis. Now the team behind these famous products is opening up a restaurant and cafe that defies the laws of California.

For many years, weed smokers in California have wanted a restaurant that served THC-infused meals, but it’s against the law. Lowell Farms: A Cannabis Cafe dares to go against this by separating its business into two entities and slicing up the lot to include a separate kitchen. While there are still some laws respected, such as not serving minors, the weed cafe has been popular in Los Angeles because of its atmosphere, menu, and weed-friendly dining experience.

Patrons to the Lowell Farms: A Cannabis Cafe are allowed to smoke and vape in one of three levels at the restaurant. They can order virgin food items while they dine, and they can purchase edibles and weed products separately, including things like THC-infused drinks or virgin cannabis oil products. The project has been a long time in the making, and the founders had to go through many hoops in order to satisfy cannabis consumption laws in California.

However, the new weed cafe is the only one of its kind in the United States. The hope is that the restaurant will become a chain as laws conform to consumer demands for THC restaurants and weed cafes grow. One thing to note is that Lowell Farms is not just a place to go and vape, such as a coffee shop. It’s an actual dining experience with three floors of entertainment and beautiful scenery. You can purchase virgin cannabis oil as well as other products right from your table.

The open air dining rooftop is a weed smoker’s paradise with beautiful, panoramic views of West Hollywood with the convenience of on-the-spot weed delivery. You can order food, virgin cannabis oil, smokes, vape carts, edibles, and many other products right from the table.

The design of the weed cafe is also important. Lowell Herb Co. has always supported sustainable growing, but with their new restaurant, they also support using reclaimed resources, such as with their beautiful wood bench tables. Everything is sustainable sources and organically grown at Lowell Farms: A Cannabis Cafe. It’s part of the reason that the restaurant has achieved such fame in a short period of time, in addition to the restaurant’s famous patrons.

With a rustic and fantastical aesthetic, long green tendrils hang from the ceiling in the other dining rooms. You’ll find pictures of Lowell Herb Co.’s famous patrons, too, such as David Bowie and Woody Harrelson.

As the country’s first ever cannabis cafe gears up for its grand opening, the restaurant comes after four years of preparation and legal battles to open up a place like this in California. The goal was to give the public a safe space where they can consume cannabis and smoke without stigma. Their new business venture didn’t come easily until an unanimous decision by the West Hollywood Business License Commission.

With Andrea Drummer as the head chef, the pioneering restaurant plans to serve farm to table recipes that everyone will love, whether you are a weed smoker or not. However, Drummer has said that the recipe will feature ingredients that will heighten the senses and be complementary to cannabis. While you won’t find any type of weed in the menu items yet, not even virgin cannabis oil, the founders are hopeful that the laws will change to allow THC-infused recipes in the future.

The new Lowell Farms: A Cannabis Cafe will open up in the fall of 2019.
