David Khari Webber Chappelle took birth in Washington D.C on 24th of August, 1973. The parents of David were university professors. He has two siblings older than him. He flourished in Maryland (Silver Springs).
Chappelle had his initial education from Woodlin Elementary School. He spent most of his time with her mother after divorced of his parents. Sometimes, he went towards his father in summers in Ohio.
He graduated from Duke Ellington School of Arts with Theatre Arts in Washington in 1991. Then, he decided to be a comedian and he had known that he would be a performer.

Career
Chappelle wanted a full-time career as a comedian so, he went to New York. He operated the first time in front of the ‘Amateur Night’ audience at Apollo Theatre but was taken off the stage.
However, he returned to it and continued to act for audiences all around New York. Chappelle was only 19 years old when he debuted his first film in Robin Hood: Men in Tights.
In 2003, Comedy Central started a show ‘Chappelle’s Show’. In those days, the comedy show ‘The Sketch’ was famous, therefore, Comedy Central endeavored Chappelle a contract of $55 million to maintain the show for two years.
After that, he moved away from Comedy Central in 2005 and rejected a new $50 million contract in the process.
